I agree. Here are my comments for a recent trip: I paid a lot of money to be in the haven, room 18702. I thought the experience would be better. The staff themselves were wonderful! It was the policy and processes that were very poor. I have been on many cruises and usually stay in rooms that would be considered equivalent to The Haven. Note: Any videos you see where there is not a lot of people in The Haven was probably done in the middle of the night or before or after an active cruise. For this cruise it was packed, and little room to relax. * Embarking we did have a shorter line to get on the ship, but then only pointed to follow everyone else to get to our room. * The Haven Restaurant had little selections and the food was of ok quality. I got sick on undercooked beef. * Paying this much for the Haven, I expected more peace. There were WAY TOO MANY kids and you couldn't even enjoy the Haven pool, Lounge, or deck as they were packed with kids and people. Yelling, screaming, running....seriously? I get that families want to vacation too, but maybe put your family suites elsewhere. Or better yet, separate the Haven into 2 sections - one family friendly, one for quiet and luxury as you portrayed this to be. And the room is noisy! Doors slamming all hours and the sundeck is right above. So, you get the sliding chairs and people walking all around. * Our butler was great. But don't state "private butler" if you are sharing with quite a few other cabins. * Spa: The staff is great. But services are very high priced. Even with the packages offered. * WI-FI: Other ships we have been on give you free and unlimited WI-FI in similar cabins as the Haven. The connection was very spotty. Literally 2 minutes after connecting to the ships WI-FI, I got hit, and am still getting hit, with hundreds of spam emails. * TV: There is limited selections of movies and channels. While I understand it's not the main source of entertainment, on a rainy day, or at sea, or days the pool is overtaken by Victoria and her screaming family, you notice that option is not there. * Elevators: I'm sure there were many complaints about how slow they are. It's such a huge ship. Kids pressing all the buttons too. * Specialty dining: The quality was just not there. The food was ok, but not near what I would expect if paying the prices listed for the meals. Reservations were awful too. I tried booking right when the ability opened, and got only availability late at night. I thought The Haven concierge could help? He could not help move reservations even when he asked the restaurant. Then, it was noticed, tables were empty at each dining, so why say it's booked? * Disembarking was chaos. I thought Haven would be escorted through the terminal. We were only shown from the elevator to the area with all the thousands of others looking for luggage.

Was there anything you liked about the Hotel? We've booked for early summer and hoping that many of the teething problems you've identified will be resolved. Many reviews on Tripadvisor for late 2023 are positive !

I tried booking. It seems that the hotel only takes minimum 4 nights bookings. What are you supposed to do for 4 days?

Pierre vs passez donc votre vie sur les bateau...j aimerai bien en faire autant. Ma 1er croisière sur Lirica et c est mon meilleur souvenir. Cette année 2023 j en ai faites 5 au total. Et se croiser peut être un jou en mer ⛴💪🙏

I booked a level room 2 weeks ago. There are way more drinks now and they added dinner Aswell. The room cleaning wasn't the best,my room didn't have cups and milk I would tell that to the ladies that cleaned my room but they didn't understand English at all that was a problem, I had to go and tell to the afternoon waiters to give me what I needed and they were kind enough to give em to me. Not level guests still had access to level areas when they didn't have hostess. The waiters and bartenders were hardworking and nice which even with the problems that the hotel had they would still make your day better.But still wouldn't really recommend going there to anyone. It needs more time and better menagment
